Starting Kidiso
Each time Kidiso starts, it will take a mere five seconds to load the various security measurements into place. This way Kidiso is building a safe online playground where only the good things of the web can be explored and discovered.

All new and already visited things are shown here. Also websites that were added or approved by the parents will show up here.
Quick Help screen
The very first time a child uses the Kidiso browser, it will be presented with the quick help screen to show some of the main features.

The Kidiso chat buddy is an automatic chat robot that provides tips on the various things that the children can do in Kidiso.

All types of games are inside Kidiso. All games are fun and free.
Appropriate videos
Appropriate videos inside Kidiso are constantly being added.
Child-friendly web sites
The best child-friendly web sites are being added to Kidiso. Parents can also add their own personal web sites to each individual child's account. For example, the website of Sarah's school can be added to her personal Kidiso account, whilst her brother can have his baseball team's homepage on his personal Kidiso.
Reporting inappropriate games or videos
In case a game or a video is deemed by your child to be inappropriate, all they have to do is click on 
to report it to the Kidiso team. Also, the reported content will immediately be removed from your child's Kidiso.
Reporting inappropriate (yucky) web sites
In case a website or a specific webpage on an approved site is showing inappropriate content, your child can easily click on to report it to the Kidiso team. Also, the reported web site or web page will immediately be removed from your child's Kidiso.
Fun things are remembered
Anything on Kidiso can be liked by clicking on the thumbs-up (or disliked with the thumbs-down). The dashboard will start to reflect their personal preference as well as make it easy to return to those things they enjoyed playing or watching.
Tagging
Tagging is a technique to give specific tags to various pieces of content on Kidiso. The dashboard shows the tags, which makes it is easy to show everything of specific tags.
Safe chat with online friends
Online friends are able to chat with each other inside Kidiso.
PLEASE NOTE: Only when both sides of the parents of the children have approved, will the children be able to chat with each other. This measurement is to make sure that the children know each other in real life as well as just online. There is no search engine to find any profiles or usernames of any kind in Kidiso.
Searching is discovering
Any kind of search term can be entered in the Kidiso search bar. All games, videos and web sites that are included inside Kidiso are indexed and searchable. Content outside Kidiso cannot be found.
Searching is also web surfing
When a website address is entered into the search bar, there is a choice to go directly to that site, or -if more content is found- they can jump straight to specific web pages that already have been indexed in Kidiso.
Requesting permission to view an unknown website.
When the child tries to go a website that is not included in Kidiso's index, an easy option to ask the parents is offered. The parents will then receive an email with three instant links. These links will allow them to check out that specific website, approve it, or deny access. This way the parents can be assured that their child is only seeing approved websites.
